That opens up opportunities to design stunning, leafy campuses with flowing footpaths and no traffic. Effective Campus designĬampus buildings are, like in Parklife, able to snap to footpaths as well as roads (with the exception of the Administration building, which acts as a front door for things like garbage collection and police visits). Campus zones are also on the same ‘level’ as Park and Industry zones, and can’t overlap (but they can overlap with District zones). It’s not possible to mix and match building types across Campus types. Unlike in Parklife and Industries, if you don’t maintain the objectives, you’ll actually lose levels. Each university starts at Unrecognised, eventually hitting Prestigious. Levelling up grants increased fees per student and more students will come to study from other cities. If you’re adding a Campus to an existing city, you’ll want to gradually move students over and close the current University buildings so that you benefit from tuition fee income.Īs with parks and specialised industrial areas, there’s objectives to meet to level up. The new universities effectively replace the previous single building. Each have a range of buildings and three Faculties to choose from. There are three Campus types: the Trade School, Liberal Arts College and University. At the most basic level, just add a set of dormitories (or any building in the ‘Education Buildings’ tab and you’re away! First, zone a new Campus area (by opening the Districts and Areas tab and choosing Paint Campus Area) and place the administrative building of your chosen Campus type. Getting started with the new Campus areas will be familiar to anyone who has the Parklife or Industries expansions. Here’s what I hope will be some useful advice to making the most of the expansion. The expansion has only been out a week, but I’ve had a chance to play with each type of university in both new cities and existing ones, introduced Varsity sports and reached ‘Prestigious’ rank. Now, not only do we satisfy the need for highly educated citizens, we also generate income and have a new focal point build city regions around. It adds a lot of well-designed new assets and lets us build beautiful, functional campuses to replace the ones we’ve cobbled together in the past from a variety of appropriate-looking Unique buildings. It brings together ideas introduced in Parklife, Industries and Match Day DLCs and applies them to the university system in the game. Campus is Cities: Skylines’ eighth expansion, and gives us a complete overhaul of the higher education system.

And what'll happen when the efforts to curb the zombie pandemic did not show any results as other nations decide to abandon the people still trapped in the zombie-ridden country because they find it pointless to help an already fallen country?Īnd to be honest, this isn't the first zombie movie that does use CGI for some of the zombies (like seriously, you don't run actual people down with high-speed cars so how else you wanna film THAT correctly?) and that never stopped people from enjoying movies like Silent Hill or Resident Evil. And the story still has a similar theme how fear and desperation will affect the people trying to escape from the virus that will turn you into an undead. Certainly, you can't expect the situation to unfold exactly the same as the people on that particular train. And the setting for the movie was focused on the other surviving people who had to try to escape the zombies by other ways BESIDES taking the KTX to Busan. And even then, the situation was already chaotic. I mean face it, the setting was four years after the escape to Busan. Because yes, the movie was quite fast-paced but it was exactly due to that what made any kinds of CGI barely noticeable. I mean, I watched this in the cinema and regardless of how much CGI had been used in this movie compared to Busan, I haven't even had time to think about that. If you dived into this movie without any set expectations you might surprise yourself to realise that you actually enjoyed this movie. If you're expecting Peninsular to go exactly as Train to Busan did, you might as well go rewatch the first movie and not have your high expectations be dashed. Surprise! I actually liked and enjoyed this movie. So first you have to figure the best way to get to it. It might, for example, be on an island in a large expanse of water. The monument is always difficult to get to in the first place. To win, all you have to do is capture the monument and hold it for 500 years. King Of The Hill places a monument at the centre of the map and has the players ranged round the outside. What's really going to breathe new life into your multiplayer games though, are the new game types. Of the new civilisations, only the South American races are blessed with new graphics. The net result of these differences is that playing each civilisation is a unique experience, and you really do have to use your brain to take advantage of their strengths or overcome their weaknesses. Instead they begin each game with a pre-set limit to their total population. Huns for example, on account of their being nomadic and preferring to sleep on their horses (or with them, depending on their personal preferences), do not have the ability to build houses. This is also the case with the five additional civilisations (Aztecs, Huns, Koreans, Mayans, and Spanish) that are included in Conquerors. One of Age Of Kings's strengths is that the civilisations are distinguished not just by different colour schemes and graphics, but also by the technologies and unit types available to them. Fortunately, Conquerors adds some spice to the standard single and multiplayer games by sprinkling in a mix of new races, units and technologies. New campaign games are all well and good, but let's face it, they don't add that much longevity. Unfortunately, the actors providing the voice-overs have once again all been hired from the Dick Van Dyke School of Crap Accents. As before, the campaign games are strung together with a series of vignettes outlining the story in a 'Meanwhile, back at the farm.' kind of way. So this time you get to play with the likes of Attila the Hun and EL Cid. While the Age Of Kings campaigns focused very much on the underdog (William Wallace, Joan of Arc, et al), Conquerors turns its attention to some of history's more successful bullies. The most obvious addition, as you'd expect, is a set of four single-player campaigns. So What's New? Download Age Of Empires 2 Mac Full Version Free Downloads As was the case with the Rise Of Rome expansion for the original Age Of Empires, Ensemble has packaged up a smorgasbord of enhancements and extras that will have seasoned fans salivating from the moment they read the box blurb. It would be wrong though to assume that this expansion CD is just more Age Of Kings campaigns given a bit of spit and polish. On the evidence of the beta version we received, The Conquerors sticks firmly to that tried and trusted formula. And, unlike some young RTS upstarts I could mention, it still has a healthy dose of resource management, which, believe it or not, some players still enjoy. It might only sport a tired old three-quarter isometric view, but then again you don't have to readapt your old flight-sim keyboard claw just so you can move the game camera and give orders at the same time. But let's face it, that's what gives this series its appeal. Not only does it look just like all the other dogs in the neighbourhood (no fancy 3D shenanigans from this beast), it's also somewhat predictable, and the last thing you'd expect it to do is learn any new tricks. You've enjoyed its company for a few years now and you've grown comfortable with it. The Age Of Empires series is becoming something of a trusty old dog.
